Use Cases

Building on the work of the first project, we are working with our partners partners (RLUK and the White Rose Consortium) to develop a prototype collection management tools service, focussing on the user interface. We are exploring a range of use cases, undertaking case studies to inform the way facilities are provided, to ensure we are supporting the appropriate workflows. A wider range of libraries are becoming involved with testing and refining these use cases and ultimately the design of the system. They will help us consider in more detail how they relate to collection management needs and practice within research libraries, and will help us develop case studies about how the tools are used. The development of further use cases is also being considered, based on requirements expressed through the Workshop on 5th  Dec 2011, and other work in the current project.
